ABSTRACT

The purpose of this series of articles is to examine the reasons and possible actions that can be taken to explore the possible colonization of the planet Mars. Furthermore, by knowing what must be done in order to further the expansion of the human civilization, a plan can be created to further the culture of humanity. The study involved drawing resources from many different areas of expertise including terraforming, the transformation of a planet without life into a planet that can sustain plants and animals on the surface, as well as propulsion methods and settlement ideas. The study also includes a way to govern the planet. The articles found that with the right resources, the colonization of Mars would be profitable and worthwhile to the human civilization.
