ABSTRACT

Colonization of the planet Mars is a realistic dream which may very soon become reality. With present technology and power, humans can travel to the planet and transform the barren, cold landscape into a planet similar to Earth. It is rather feasible this journey will be made sometime soon within the next few years, and from the moment the first humans touch down on the extraordinary planet, our world will never be the same. There are many problems to accomplishing this dream of colonizing Mars ranging from transportation, equipment, to food and water. Knowing how practical and necessary it is for humans to colonize Mars in the near future, multi billion dollar plans have been written, mission are being proposed and the world is bracing for something we have never experienced before; The colonization and terraforming of another planet.
