Resident Evil August 04, 2002 @ 6:07 p.m. Yesterday I went over to Justin's house with the gang and I saw Resident Evil for the third and probably last time. I honestly believe that brain cells are dying in my head. That being put aside its a pointless but kind of entertaining slaughterfest from the director of Event Horizon. The dialogue is cheesy, the acting is very humorous, far too much style and far too little substance. The movie falls into some obvious cliches and plot holes are not only present, they are rather massive and come in large numbers(kind of like the zombies). And no bad horror movie would be complete without an ending which opens doors for a sequel. Skip it and rent Dawn of the Dead. -Andrew "Banky" D. |
